Why Consider Electrical Apprentice Training Courses?
Whether they’re in their first or fifth year of their apprenticeship, your apprentices have so much to learn — and you don’t always have the time to teach them. Our apprentice training courses can help ensure they become well-trained electricians who do their work safely and proficiently.

Program Highlights:
-
Comprehensive Training: 144 hours of related technical instruction (RTI) per year, covering essential skills from theory to practical applications.
-
Expert-Led: Developed by experienced electrical contractors and delivered by certified trainers. (Meet our trainers below!).
-
Industry-Recognized: Developed by the Electrical Training Network and industry experts, following standards approved by the Minnesota Department of Labor.
-
Flexible Schedule: Continue working while you learn, with weekly online classes on Tuesday evenings. Can’t make a class? Easily make up missed classes by watching recordings.
-
Mobile-Friendly: Access live or recorded lessons via Moodle on any device.
The structured curriculum of our apprentice training courses will help your apprentices gain the knowledge they need to do their jobs well and the ability to advance in their electrical careers.
Please note: 8,000 hours of on-the-job training are required to sit for the MN Journeyworker Exam. Our courses do not count as on-the-job training, nor do they count towards continuing education hours. However, we do offer a 2CE course during the year where apprentices can satisfy their yearly licensure requirements — this is included at no extra cost.
